in this part of the website i wanna talk about the overprinting i did in week one =3

i went to a second-hand shop and bought a selection of reference books, as well as my beautiful collins english dictionary <3
i started by cutting pages out of the reference books and pasting them into the dictionary, highlighting GCD terminology and recontextualising it xD

then... i scanned in some top gcd terms, like 'critical' and 'publication' and riso printed them back on top of the pages of the reference books :O

soooo yeah basically..
i think this makes a loooooot of sense when considering the journey through my uunit 2 work, which started with watching agnès varda’s the gleaners and iii and exploring how i could use the kinda total ethos from the film toooOOOoo guide my gleaning. but throughout the course of uwunit 2 i’ve twisted and shifted my exploration ALL OVER TEH PLACE while keeping this central thread of gleaning, and recently i’ve been looking more at uncovering knowledge through gleaning.
